He had been running through the forest when he caught up to two little girls. He looked at them and when they looked over he heard the soldiers. He ssshhhtttted them. One of the girls screamed. The soldiers after capturing him, dug a grave next to a tree. Then they cut off his head and put both the body and the head in the grave. From then on the Headless Horseman would go around beheading people. He would get his revenge for people taking his. He would try to put it on his empty spot to see if it fit there. No of the heads did, so then he would put all of their heads back into the tree from wence he was burried. A man named Ichabod is a lanky, lean, and extremely superstitious school master from Conneticut. After he gets done attending a party at the Van Tassel home, he gets an unexpected visit from the Headless Horseman. While he was walking in the darkness he heard horse steps. Starting like walking but then suddenly running. He looked over to see a mysterious figure riding a horse. He looked strange at first but then as he looked closer, he knew why he looked strange. The mysterious man had no head. So Ichabod Crane took off running othe opposite direction. He kept running until he finally went to a church. People in the church came out in a rush and helped him inside. Somebody told him that he can not enter on sacred grounds. The Headless Horseman kept having his horse figiding around and around. Finally he threw a cross into the are and cut off one of the heads of a man.
